Help Refugees and the Poor in Lebanon

December 19

When refugees and Lebanese nationals impoverished by a collapsed economy receive food, clothing and other aid from local missionaries, they often ask workers why they are helping them. The workers gladly share about the love of Christ. “The message of Christ is so embedded in what we do and how we do it that the recipients of our aid clearly understand the source of our goodness,” the ministry leader said. “We are involved in the local camps of refugees and are seeing people come to Christ.” Local missionaries seek donations of $35 or $70 to provide aid to refugees and other needy people in Christ’s name. Pray for the health and safety of workers and recipients.

“…they saw the Child with His mother Mary; and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.” (Matthew 2:11)
