With about 1,700 people getting baptized and 16 house churches forming over the course of six months, follow-up teaching was crucial. Native missionaries gave trainings to encourage new Christians in their faith and deepen their understanding of basic principles and practices. They also offered seminars to disciple people of all levels, including non-Christians who then learned the gospel and were witness to awe-inspiring fellowship. Other seminars were designed for specific ethnic groups. Workers need donations for these and other evangelism and discipleship initiatives. Pray new Christians will stand strong against persecution.
