Help Support Native Missionaries in Burma

September 8

Buddhists are usually closed to the gospel, but recently local missionaries were able to proclaim Christ to hundreds displaced by war, with 50 coming to saving faith in the Lord’s death and resurrection. “Now they are worshipping God every Sunday,” the leader of the native ministry said. In another area, workers led 20 tribal animists to accept Christ. In all, more than 100 people received Christ as Lord and Savior over a six-month stretch. Local missionaries providing critical aid and the gospel need donations for their monthly living expenses. Pray for the Lord’s protection over native missionaries working amid military conflict and COVID-19.

“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry…” (1 Tim. 1:12)
