Sunday, May 22 – Burma
Amid violence related to the military coup, native missionaries have helped meet needs and spread the Good News of Christ’s salvation. COVID-19 victims were grateful for oxygen tanks and food, and students at a native ministry’s children’s home were excited to receive tablets, Wi-Fi and teaching in English and math via Zoom. A local missionary who visited five animist villages saw many put their faith in Christ, and two other workers reached staunch Buddhists with the gospel. Donations are sought for local missionaries’ needs. Pray for their safety and that the Lord would use dark days to bring Christ’s light into the lives of many.
