Thursday, May 5 - Lebanon
The pandemic sometimes requires the gospel to be shared in small groups, but the Good News is entering the hearts of people in many ways. Local missionaries visiting the home of one troubled young man asked if they could pray for him; he felt the Holy Spirit and said he wanted to learn the Bible, and he and his family have since put their faith in Christ. Local missionaries providing aid to refugees recently saw eight of them receive eternal life and baptism, while other workers initiated nine new home fellowships. Donations of $25 or $50 are sought for such evangelism and discipleship efforts. Pray the faith of new Christians would deepen to withstand many pressures.
“We believe that we are all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus.” (Acts 15:11)
