Monday, April 18 – Nigeria
Amid dangers from Islamic terrorists, native missionaries provided 144,000 displaced people in four states with food, clothing and hygiene items over a six-month period, and 1,081 people accepted Bibles. Fellowships began among many of them. Workers helped the displaced to leave camps and build homes. Other local missionaries provided water wells and pit latrines to 13 communities, reducing water-borne disease and opening the hearts of many to the gospel. Donations are sought for the living expenses of missionaries braving dangers to bring the love of Christ to the needy. Pray that workers would be encouraged with the resources to fulfill God’s call on their lives.
