Wednesday, March 2 – China
When a substance abuser entered a native ministry’s rehabilitation center, it was evident to workers that he had no sense of responsibility, and his wife and parents were devastated by his addiction. After putting his faith in Christ and undergoing the disciplines of the 18-month program, he was spiritually stable and eager to start a gospel-based rehabilitation center in his hometown. Building relationships with former addicts’ loved ones and making home visits, workers have spread the gospel to people who otherwise would never hear it. Donations are sought for local missionaries’ monthly upkeep. Pray the Lord would deliver more people from bondage to illegal substances.
