Saturday, February 19 – Middle East
Refugees who live in tent camps among Islamic extremists welcome the words of comfort that local missionaries bring along with life-saving aid. They also face unhygienic conditions that leave many children with hair loss, rashes and sores, and the little ones are also susceptible to disease due to lack of clean water. Receiving aid to meet their basic needs means everything to refugees, and workers see the joy in their eyes when they bring food, water, blankets and hygiene kits. Donations of $35 or $70 are sought to provide such critical aid to refugees throughout the region. Local missionaries request prayer to be able to reach many more people with aid.
